Our Christmas trees are planted either by machine or by hand direct in the soil with a spade. The lower branches are usually pruned to form a suitable handle after the fifth year and a programme of individual shaping and growth regulation is then initiated to achieve trees of the very highest quality. After 6-10 years, the trees are graded according to quality and height, cut, netted and packed on pallets. They are then forwarded to customers by lorry. | |
Nordmann fir (Abies nordmanniana) Nordmann fir is by far the most popular Christmas tree thanks to its exceptional durability and minimal needle drop. We strive to produce dense slender trees. Trees are available in heights of 60 to 600 cm. |
Norway spruce (Picea abies) Norway spruce is the original Christmas tree. It is available in heights of 100 to 250 cm. |
Serbian spruce (Picea Omorika) Serbian spruce is very similar to Norway spruce but is more slender and has a silvery sheen. It is available in heights of 80 to 300 cm. |
